About Me

Hey!

My name is Rowan Stuart.
I'm 17 years old, as of June 2013.
My home base is near the Nantahala Gorge, in Stecoah, North Carolina, but for over a month during the summer, I travel around Colorado and the surrounding states to kayak.
I'm a member of the 2013 USA Freestyle Kayak team, and will be representing the United States in World Championships this September.

I'm a professional kayaker, representing Pyranha Kayaks, Astral Buoyancy, Watershed Drybags, Immersion Research, Rapid Straps, and Terravida Threads.

I love kayaking of all disciplines, but I primarily compete in freestyle K1, but I'm hoping to add some variety to my list, and begin competing in freestyle C1, as well as some down-river races.

This is my blog for 2013, and I'm going to try my best to keep it updated as often as possible.
